IARF, the oldest international inter-religious organization, has been engaging in interfaith dialogue and social justice projects from its beginning in 1900. Founded by Unitarians, we now have 75 member groups of different faiths from around the world. Our international office has moved from Oxford to Osaka, Japan and continues to oversee the work of the worldwide Chapters as well as the Young Adult Network.


*NEW* April International Council Meeting, Osaka, Japan *NEW*

The Rev. Doris Hunter, the US Chapter representative to the council meeting participated in the work of the council including the location of the coming congress in 2014 (decision yet to be finalized), budget considerations, support for human rights projects, in committee formation and tasks as well as the approval of two commissions, Person to Person Encounters and Peace Making. President Mitsuo Miyake presided over the meeting. The Konko-kyo Shrine offered gracious hospitality for the meeting.
